  1. I love this word wall... probably because it contains POPCORN! :) Yum! As an ESL teacher without bulletin board space, I made personal mini-word walls by taping file folders together. Then, students added words to their personal word walls whenever we learned a new academic vocabulary word. It's so rewarding to see the word wall list grow larger over the course of the year! It shows everyone how much we have learned!!

    1. Deb, I love the mini word wall idea! I've got time to prep those before school starts, too! Thank you so much!

  2. I use student dictionaries in my classroom! Anytime we get a new sight word they write it into their dictionaries while I place it on the word wall! I also really like using the words for a variety of different games! One is quiz, quiz, trade! They walk the room and quiz each other if they get it right they trade words and quiz someone else! They love it!

    1. My class last year would have loved Quiz, Quiz, Trade so I'll definitely try that out this year! Thanks!
